Manly Battle Ships: The Manly Battleships® are a group of fun-loving guys and gals that have formed the greatest programming group on the east coast convention circuit. Veteran panelists combine their powers with a circle of long time con-goers, otaku, and deviants to form the new titan at the front of the con scene. Adam Hennessy: Adam Hennessy has been running Anime Parliament at many anime conventions all across the country. In the long history of Parliament, a ton of cases have been brought forward. We’ve seen cases ranging from Mario’s use of narcotics, Link’s breaking and entering habits, not to mention the Zombie Civil Rights Movement of 2008.

Anime Parliament™ Video Game edition: Welcome to a special Video Games Only session of Anime Parliament®, the leading forum for debate in the anime multi-verse! As a fan or your chosen character, Parliament gives you the opportunity to come forward and present a case against another character, or any injustice you feel exists in any anime series. In the long history of Parliament, a ton of cases have been brought forward. We’ve seen cases ranging from Mario’s use of narcotics, Link’s breaking and entering habits, not to mention the Zombie Civil Rights Movement of 2008. Come forward, state your case, bring witnesses and remember…not everyone in the Parliament will agree with you! Be ready for a debate, because you’ll most certainly get it.

How to Make Music w/ Gameboys: In this part informative, part instructional, part interactive presentation, Chipocrite will provide an overview of chiptune — a style of music in which artists repurpose and push the boundaries of old video game hardware to create new and original compositions. You’ll learn about the style’s roots, hear it in its modern context and get started learning how to make your own chiptunes using Little Sound DJ, the ubiquitous music tracker/sequencer software for the Nintendo Game Boy. At the end of the presentation, you might even have a chance to interact with LSDJ and make your own chip remix live!
